Graduate Awards

Each year, several graduate student awards are聽given in recognition of excellence for their work in helping to teach undergraduate students. Click the name of each award to see past recipients.聽

Established in 1998, this award honors Dedman College mathematics graduate teaching assistants who demonstrate exceptional commitment to helping first- and second-year undergraduate students succeed in mathematics outside the classroom. The award is funded through an endowment from Betty McKnight Speairs.

    • This cash award recognizes the outstanding graduate teaching assistant. It is funded by an endowment honoring Dr. Edwin Mouzon, a distinguished professor and chair who served from 1922–1971.
