Cathy Chickering Pace is a Research Project Manager for the ok资源网 Geophysics Laboratory in Dallas, Texas, where manages multiple externally sponsored seismo-acoustic research projects, from proposal generation through to and including final reporting and close-out. She works with the Principle Investigator(s) (P.I.'s) in managing the time and tasks of a diverse set of researchers and engineers and interacts with funding agency personnel regarding contract performance, funding, and reporting. Responsibilities include understanding and tracking key project attributes such as contract deliverables, major milestones, reporting requirements, budget/spend rate/budget changes, personnel requirements and allocations by project. She works closely with the Office of Sponsored Research and the Office of Grant and Contract Accounting regarding contract compliance, available project balances, submission of journal entries, payment of vendor invoices, invoices to sponsoring agencies, contract modifications, etc.
